Arbor Day Celebration 2022
The City of Greenville, ReLeaf, and ECU celebrated Arbor Day and the city's 33rd year as a Tree City USA community at the Boys & Girls Club's Lucille Gorham Unit on Friday, April 29.

 

During the event, the City was recognized and presented with a Tree City USA banner by the NC Forest Service, a proclamation was presented and read by Mayor PJ Connelly, NC Forest Ranger Robin Weber and NC State Representative Brian Farkas spoke on the importance of trees, students from the Boys & Girls Club and ECU performed a special musical selection, and trees were planted around the Lucille Gorham Center grounds.
