AmeriCorps crew at Palm Springs-South Coast Field OfficeThe AmeriCorps NCCC team is at it again! The Red 3 teams next assignment was with the BLM Palm Springs-South Coast Field Office where they worked at three different locations: Dos Palmas Preserve, Box Canyon, and Coon Hollow Campground. At Dos Palmas they brushed along the roads between the fish ponds and moved brush into burn piles. In Box Canyon, they picked up trash and removed graffiti from the sandstone. Lastly, at Coon Hollow Campground the team moved rocks to help delineate the campsites and to prevent visitors from driving into the sensitive desert habitat. We are grateful for their service and everything they are doing for #YourPublicLands! Photo by Becca Schlotterbeck, Americorps Team Member
