Morning mist on lavender.
Lavender Valley Farms, Oregon. Tucked into the foothills of Mt Hood, Lavender Valley is just as magical as its name suggests. At this gorgeous lavender farm in Oregon, you can pick your own lavender in a bucolic setting, surrounded by stunning views, picnic tables, and the soothing aroma of fresh lavender. The farm grows 10 different kinds of lavender. Much of the lavender is harvested to be used in handmade products including essential oils, soaps, lotions, flavored honey, and other great gifts that you can buy in the lovely farm store. They offer a reservation program to photograph either at sunrise or sunset. I choose sunrise and was so lucky to get just a bit of mist this morning. Original public domain image from Flickr
