GRAFENWOEHR, Germany --- U.S. Army Sgt. Erin Van Maanen, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, performs a 2-mile run during the Army Physical Fitness Test at United States Army Europe's Best Warrior Competition in Grafenwoehr, Germany, July 30, 2012. The Best Warrior Competition is an intense contest that challenges competitors, all of whom have previously competed to be named the best in their units, to prove their skills in military knowledge, leadership and endurance. USAREUR’s winning pair will go on to compete for honors at the Department of the Army level.
