Engineer works on a smart wall system
ALEXANDRIA, Va. — Robert Damon, a laborer with R&D Installations, works on a "smart wall" system at the Department of Defense Office Complex (BRAC 133) project at Mark Center, Aug. 30, 2010. Construction on the complex began in January 2009 and is scheduled for completion in September 2011. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New York District is managing design and construction of the $1.08 billion complex as part of 2005 Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) programs which are ongoing at and around Fort Belvoir, Va.
