Steam bath on Cheyenne Indian Tongue River Reservation. A hot fire is made in the center, bricks are heated, water is poured over them. After the Indian gets inside is well covered with many blankets and the outside is also covered with cloths and blankets. He stays in there for several hours, sweats, and becomes very weak. A skull in front, outside, is their "medicine." Other Indians watch and stand around and smoke. Near Lame Deer, Montana. Sourced from the Library of Congress.
