Production. B-17 heavy bomber. A crew of fast, expert workers at the Boeing plant in Seattle rivet a fuselage section for a new B-17F (Flying Fortress) bomber. Working on the section in the vertical position saves much valuable floor space. The Flying Fortress has performed with great credit in the South Pacific, over Germany and elsewhere.
