Bantam, Connecticut. Here is the elected governing body of Bantam, including both Democrats and Republicans. This council meets the first Monday of every month in a little room just above the post office. From left to right: Burgess George Perrett of the Perrett Lumber Company; Burgess Harold Cox, owner of Cox's Garage; Clerk Arthur Morey, who has an insurance office in Litchfield(Morey's is an appointive job); Burgess Leonard Doyle, an unemployed engineer; Burgess Willis Bennett, engineer in charge of the Bantam powerhouse, and Warden James L.
