On the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railroad between Marceline, Missouri and Argentine, Kansas. Brakemen exchanging highball signs. When two trains pass one another, the brakeman watch the other train for signs of hot boxes or other damage. If all is well, the highball sign is given.
