Ingleton walk 10It's a hilly place, as this shot shows, which always adds interest. There's a Sherlock Holmes connection with Ingleton, too. Conan Doyle's mother was from nearby Masongill, and an architect called Cornelius Sherlock was rebuilding the church at the time (1886) Doyle started writing the Sherlock Holmes stories.
